My experience
As an experienced tutor I have a professional, yet friendly and approachable manner. I have been tutoring for several years with in excess of 7000 hours teaching experience. For A-level my main experience has been with Edexcel where I have also served as an Examiner.
I also currently tutor students internationally via Zoom. During this time I have taught from KS2 all the way through to GCSE and A2-Maths/Further Maths and I have a proven track record of raising student attainment. I have helped prepare students for entry to some of the top schools in the country including Eton College.
My students regularly go on to achieve Grade 9 at GCSE and A/A* in A-level Maths and Further Maths. Former tutees have secured places at Oxbridge; LSE; UCL; Imperial; Durham and many other leading Russell Group universities, studying medicine; engineering; astrophysics; science and maths. Other tutees have secured apprenticeships with the big 4 accountancy firms, leading technology companies and officer training programmes in the armed services.
When I'm not teaching maths...
I enjoy running and open water swimming. I am an active member of my local running club where I recently received the honour of being awarded 'Best Marathon Runner'! I swam Coniston Water this year and I am looking forward to swimming Ullswater next year!
